During my tenure at Northern Virginia Magazine, I crafted unique advertising spreads that blended creative typography and precise layouts, integrating harmoniously with the publication's visual style. Additionally, I designed spreads for a feature article spotlighting a zero-g flight. My design strategy aimed to vividly illustrate the reporter's zero-gravity experience, utilizing type treatments that juxtaposed lightness and heaviness to convey the nuanced sensation of gravity. The layout incorporated generous white space and ascending angles, effectively communicating the essence of weightlessness.
