Therm-a-Rest Mattress Packaging

Charged with the task of reducing waste for Therm-a-Rest's camping mattresses, I spearheaded the redesign of their packaging, which now serves a dual purpose as both informative product packaging and a mattress storage sack. Focusing on sustainability, the new design eliminates extraneous materials. My role involved creating visually distinctive packaging and hangtags that not only capture attention on store shelves but also convey essential product details while staying true to the Therm-a-Rest brand. The minimalist approach, characterized by reduced text and icons, results in clean, eye-catching, and informative product packaging, aligning with Therm-a-Rest's commitment to eco-friendly practices. I designed the new packaging and hangtags in a way that would stand out visually in stores, provide necessary product details, and remain consistent with the Therm-a-Rest brand. By minimizing the use of text and icons, the result is clean, eye catching, and informative product packaging.
